Ya’ll can call me Benny and I’m a Dutch aspiring illustrator that loves to draw! It was my way of expressing myself when I was a youngin’ and most of the basics were taught to me by my mother. Ever since I started this account back in 2013 I have been uploading most of my drawings, so please don't mind the bad old drawings in the back of my gallery. It would be a shame to delete such progress. I’ve always been big on fantasy and magical characters, but I draw everything from landscapes to portraits.

My love for fantasy was always quite prevalent but when I saw The Hobbit in theatres in December 2012 it skyrocketed. It's no suprise I adore attending fantasy fairs where I can pretend I’m an merchant traveler when taking strolls in the forest.

Japanese modern illustrators are a big inspiration for my art-style. I study Japanology in University, so feel free to ask any question in/on Japanese if they come up! I'm no stranger to anime and cosplay plus visit conventions to this day.

I've gotten some commissioned work for the likes of local municipalities, as wedding gifts and tattoo orders. My dream was to be commissioned one day, and with that dream achieved I now just try to have a good time with drawing. Today, I try to study anatomy in my free time in order to improve my skills while having fun with fellow artists.
